PELATIHAN DAN MOTIVASI SEBAGAI KUNCI UTAMA PENINGKATAN KINERJA KARYAWAN DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

One of the private banks that was able to survive in difficult times during the Covid-19 pandemic was Bank Central Asia (BCA), especially the Probolinggo branch. BCA's success cannot be separated from the high performance of employees as a result of proper HRM practices by optimizing training and motivation within employees. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of training and motivation on the performance of BCA Probolinggo branch employees during the Covid-19 pandemic. A total of 40 employees have been selected as research respondents through a saturated sample sampling technique. The quantitative data obtained through the distribution of 5 points likert scale questionnaires then analyzed by Partial Least Square analysis with the help of SmartPLS software version 3.3.3. The results show that both training and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, although motivation has a stronger effect than. This happened because during the Covid-19 pandemic, training was carried out online which was considered by employees to be not as effective as offline. Future research can analyze the types of training and motivation that have the most impact on employee performance.
